This Privacy Policy describes how Yang-Che Hsiao ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Nagg AI mobile application ("the App").
Account Information: When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, we collect your Apple User ID and optionally your email address (which may be a private relay email) for authentication and account management purposes. You may also provide a preferred display name.
User Content: We collect the text content you input for alarm messages. This text is processed to generate voice audio for your alarms.
Configuration Data: We store your app settings and preferences on our servers to sync your experience across sessions.
Usage Analytics: We collect anonymized usage data to understand how the App is used and to improve our services. This may include information such as feature usage patterns, app performance metrics, and general interaction data.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information necessary for the App to function properly, such as device type and operating system version.
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the App's functionality, process your text input to generate voice audio for alarms, sync your settings and preferences, process subscription payments through Apple and RevenueCat, analyze usage patterns to improve the App, and communicate with you about your account or the App.

Google Text-to-Speech: We use Google's TTS service to convert your text into voice audio. Your text input is sent to Google for processing. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

OpenRouter: We use OpenRouter to route requests to AI language models for generating personalized alarm message text. Your text input may be processed through OpenRouter's infrastructure. Please review OpenRouter's Privacy Policy for more information.
Google Gemini: We use Google's Gemini language model to generate personalized alarm message text based on your input. Your text is processed by Google's AI services. Please review Google Gemini API Terms and Gemini Privacy Hub for more information.
Convex: We use Convex as our backend database provider to store your account information, preferences, and app data. Convex is SOC 2 Type II compliant and GDPR verified. Please review Convex's Privacy Policy for more information.
Apple: Subscription payments are processed through Apple's App Store, and authentication is handled through Sign in with Apple. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for information about how they handle your data.
Your account information and configuration settings are stored on our servers for as long as you maintain an account with us.
Generated voice audio files are temporarily stored on our servers and are automatically deleted after 3 days.
If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data from our servers within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it by law.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing of your data. The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including Taiwan and countries where our third-party service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
